Bouncing & Toys, More Blogs & Prayers

I've been bad, and haven't posted anything new in a few days. It's not for lack of wanting to!

Ed sent me this link to an inflatable ride called "Invasion Slide" Yikes! It's huge! I especially like the alien. I would love to see this in person. I'm dying to get an inflatable bouncer for Char but I'm trying to hold off. I talked to a guy at Wal-Mart who said that last year the bounce houses were mucho reduced at the end of the season. If I can get one for $50 in August as oppossed to $200 now that would be totally awesome. Charlotte would still get plenty of use out of it for the next few years anyways. We might even be able to put it in the basement for the winter. The munchkin isn't tall enough to hit her head on the ceiling while jumping. Ed, on the other hand... well, that's another story. I think we are going to settle for a Step2 Up & Down Roller Coaster for now - Charlotte attended a birthday Party a few weeks back and they had this and she loved it. We picked up a sand box on clearance last year and I just got some playground sand to fill it with. We were considering a playhouse of some sort, but will make do with what we have for now. Hopefully it will be enough to keep her occupied in the back yard, along with her slide (similar to this) and our little inflatable pool. I also picked up this Little Tikes Ultimate Beach ball Sprinkler - I looked all over the place to find one last year and couldn't find it. Char loves balls, so I'm hoping this will be a big hit. I'd love to play with it too. She recently inherited the traditional Little Tikes Cozy Coupe from our very kind neighbor (who also hooked her up with the slide). Char is loving it, although I wish she's stay in in for more than 10 seconds at a time...

Speaking of Ed, I invite you to check out his blog here on blogger.com. I figured if he could do it, so could I. He tends to be more eloquent on single subjects while I tend to ramble and jump all over the place. Opposites attract, eh? In any case, I love him and hope you enjoy his blog too.

Finally, Bortz sent me another good forward - it's called "Prayers". I got a good chuckle out of it. Enjoy!

FEMALE PRAYER

Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's gainfully employed,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind,
Knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?"
I pray that this man will love me to no end,
And always be my very best friend.
Amen.

MALE PRAYER

I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with great boobs
who owns a liquor store and a bass boat.
This doesn't rhyme and I don't care.

Have a great Easter/Passover, to anyone who might be reading this.
